Kicking off the year with momentum, we are excited to announce an important strategic alliance that will further elevate the US customer experience and local support to new heights.

As of January 1st, 2025, ScaleWings and TacAero have officially joined forces in the spirit of providing world-class training, aerobatic and formation courses, unmatched flying adventures, and continued support and maintenance for the dynamically growing fleet of US based SW-51 MUSTANGs.

TacAero is renowned for its elite tailwheel training programs and factory partnerships with CubCrafters (building the CarbonCub) and Game Composites (manufacturer of the GB1 GameBird). Pilots from around the globe seek out TacAero for their transition training, backcountry flying, aerobatic courses and wilderness expeditions. ScaleWings shares TacAero’s unwavering commitment to safety and the pursuit of exhilarating pilot experiences. Together, we aim to deliver a seamless customer journey for SW-51 owners that extends beyond delivery, empowering pilots to master these exceptional vintage-inspired aircraft.

First ScaleWings Mustang Fly-In, Fredericksburg, TX

To commemorate this new partnership and to begin an exciting tradition for the nostalgic P-51, we are hosting a “Mustang Fightertown Gathering” in Feb. 2025, at TacAero’s Fredericksburg, TX, homebase.
